Who we are
Adacity LLC (“Adacity”, “we”, “our”) operates the AI-visibility analysis service at adacity.ai. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the site and what we do with it.
Questions: support@adacity.ai.
What we collect
Under the CCPA, the information below falls into the categories of identifiers, commercial information, and internet activity information.
- Email address, so we can deliver your report and send a receipt.
- The website URL you submit, which is the business we run the report on.
- Payment information, collected and processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Anything you write to support, when you email us.
- Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) generated when you load the site. We use these for security and debugging.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure how the site performs. It does not set cookies and does not track you across other sites. Visitors in the EU are excluded.
We also use Google Analytics to see how visitors find and use the site. Google Analytics sets cookies and may transfer data to the United States. We ask for your consent before any analytics cookies are set. If you decline, no cookies are stored. You can change your choice any time using the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of any page.
How we use your information
- To deliver your report and send transactional email.
- To handle support and refunds.
- To prevent fraud and abuse.
- To improve our service, including by using submitted content to refine our analysis and models, as described in our Terms of Service.
We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). We do not send marketing email unless you have opted in.
Legal basis (EU/UK). We process your information to perform our contract with you (delivering the report), to comply with legal obligations (tax, accounting), and based on our legitimate interest in improving the Service and preventing fraud. Where we send marketing email, we rely on your consent.
Service providers we use
We rely on third-party services to operate the product. Each processes only what’s necessary for its function:
- Stripe: payment processing.
- Resend: transactional email delivery.
- Cloudflare: hosting, DNS, content delivery, and DDoS protection.
- Google Analytics: site analytics. We only load Google Analytics when you give us consent. Google may transfer data to the United States; we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses for that transfer.
- Fly.io: application hosting for our backend services.
- Neon: managed Postgres database.
- OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google: large-language-model providers we query as part of producing your report. The queries we send are Adacity’s own analytical questions about the public business at the URL you submitted; they do not contain your email or payment information. OpenAI and Anthropic do not train their models on these queries under their default API terms. Google’s free-tier Gemini API may use queries to improve Google’s products, including for model training.
- Brave Search: web search API used to gather public sources.
When we share information with US-based service providers, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms required under EU and UK law.
What we keep, and for how long
We retain your email, purchase records, and report so we can support you, fulfill legal and tax obligations, and use de-identified data as described in our Terms of Service. We retain purchase records (email, transaction details, report) for at least seven years to meet tax, accounting, and audit obligations. We retain server logs for up to one year for security and debugging. If you receive a refund, your access to the report ends per the Terms. If you want us to remove your record, email support@adacity.ai and we’ll do it within 30 days, subject to records we’re legally required to retain.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email support@adacity.ai and we will respond within 30 days. We will not retaliate against you for exercising these rights. EU and UK residents have the right to lodge a complaint with their national data protection authority.
Security
We use HTTPS everywhere, encrypted storage for sensitive data, and access controls on internal systems. No system is perfectly secure; if we ever experience a breach that affects your information, we will notify you as required by law.
Children
Adacity is for adults. You must be at least 18 to use the site. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, email support@adacity.ai and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify customers by email.
